I love to see the temple!

On April 9th 2011 we were sealed for all time and eternity! Ever since I was young I always sang the song "I Love to see the Temple" I can't even remember how old I was. I remember replaying the words in my mind and really pondering about the temple. I pictured the perfect temple wedding my family and friends would all be there. Well that picture was never taken..ha ha ha due to the choices I made in the past it wasn't until earlier this month I actually made it inside the temple! It was a goal we set after we got married back in 2007 that we would get sealed.
A few days before we were scheduled to go through I was so scared! Scared that within these few days something would happen to one of us. Yea only me think the worse. I couldn't help it though, out of these 4 years it was just the few days before we went through the temple that it acutally hit me! We wouldn't be an eternal family if we weren't sealed. I always knew that of course but I didn't FEEL the real meaning of that it until that week. With much prayer and fast I became to feel my fathers comfort that we would have this oppurtunity.
It wasn't legit until Thursday that week that we would be sealed on Saturday. I started to make my calls and spread the word. I felt so bad because there were alot of family I did forget to tell. I'm really sorry but it was a busy week for me =/
So the day finally comes and I've never felt more prepared then that day! It was beautiful! I was so emotional through everything. I began to see alot more things clearly all this time I waited and this beautiful temple is only 10 mins away from my house. I can't explain the peace and comfort I felt. I can only say don't wait so long for this oppurtunity to pass you by. Even though this wasn't my perfect picture the temple was perfect and I still made it inside. The temple is so close don't procrastinate your time to enter the holy house of the lord. I love my family and close friends that were all there thank you for your support, love and examples!

My big boy

My dad drops by to pick booga up since me and alex both work early tomorrow. I kiss him, we exchange our I luhh yous and hugs. Before they drive off he says mommy "If you need anything call papa's phone ok". He says things I wouldn't expect a 3 year old to say not only that he already worries for me! He amazes me everyday and melts my heart away! I love you my booga I wish I could freeze moments like this.

I had to snap a pic on my phone before he went to papa's

Ziggy Marley

I got word from my cousin lila that ziggy marley was going to perform at one of the casinos out here. Of course i jumped all over that and planned to go. I knew we were going to have a busy weekend because tuuta was coming back thursday then the concert was the next day. We all planned to go and purchase V.I.P. tickets. Lucky me,  one of my cousins who had already purchased her V.I.P. tickets could no longer go. Therefore i was able to buy them off her. Come to find out a few days later when the rest of the crew called to get their tickets, VIP was sold out =( They just bought regular seat tickets.
The morning of the concert we all went to the mall tuuta needed to buy some shoes i wanted to go see if anything would catch my eye (hey you never know if you'll see a nice top) and siate just went to go.  I was so tired from the night before welcoming tuuta and having a little eating at their house we didn't leave until about 1am. After the mall we headed home to get ready for the concert. We left 4 hours early because I  wanted to be front row. Yea i the boys actually agreed to leave that early (thanks guys). We made it to the concert area and there was a line of about 20 ppl so we quickly hopped in line.

Then when we finally got passed the entrance i hustled to the front row right in front of the stage to find out that those seats were reserved yes i was soo annoyed!! WHAT THE..i didn't even know you had to purchase front row seats..lol..oh well we ended up in 2nd row which was still really good.

Then my cousin simi came with us to the concert this guy didn't even have a ticket and he got the hook up through one of the tongan girls who worked there! Yes this guy got a VIP pass and then a front row pass!!!Yes i was so jealous ha ha ha I wish i was cool like him where people just hook me up cause they can.
If you can zoom up closer you could see his pass says front row
Anyways so there me and my brother are sitting in back of simi just chillin then i decide to take a trip to the regular seats where the rest of our party was it was so sad they were so far away ha ha ha jk
From left to right tuuta, penili, nese (taufa's girl) and taufa. I was laughing so hard because the look on taufas face was exactly how he felt. lol, but him and siate agreed to switch passes after the concert started so he can exprience it up close. Well Ziggy kicked off the concert singing tomorrow people and it was a good thing he did because the rest of the concert was so so.

I mean i enjoyed it because i was so close but to be where taufa and them were. I would've hated it. He really didn't interact with the crowd. He would smile and wink at all of us in the front and vibe with us. But for everyone else there was nothing. Like we didn't even get any "How you doing Arizona?" or  "Sing it with me". To be honest i only knew 2 of his songs "love is my religion" and "Be true to yourself". At least i made it to the front next to simi ha ha ha and made it on the screens to where everyone saw me lol. Oh and side note 2 people asked me if i was drunk what the?! just because i'm smiling, singing, and making motions to the words that makes me drunk??!?! my brother was like i'm a witness you weren't drinking..hoii people think i'm that weak well sorry ppl i'm a changed woman!! Okkk..lol...The reason i was so excited about this concert was because he's the only son who looks so much like his dad and sounds just like him! I mean when he sang his dads song "Is this love" my heart was literally melting!

I closed my eyes and pictured Bob Marley singing to me ha ha ha. I'm so serious!! I did expect more from the son of bob marley but hey he winked at me so that made my night ha ha ha. Sadly my phone died during the concert slow me didn't think to stop texting and facebooking to save my battery life for pics. Siate got a text from taufa saying its ok i dont want to switch off, we're gonna bounce. I was like heyyy i mean you spent $$ on this concert try to make it fun at least. They ended up leaving anyways. After the concert we ran into friends and some family so it was nice to see everyone.
Soo after leaving the casino we met up with the rest of the fam at Inn-N-Out. We just hung out and talked about of ziggy wasn't as good as we thought ha ha ha.

It was a good night. I just loved hanging with the fams mostly =) Just a very few clips of Ziggy singing his dads music the only part i loved! I was too busy dancing when he sang is this love i regret no recording it! he he he

March Maddness

Soo its been over a month since i've blogged. Yea i'm a slacker. The whole month of March went so quick! We had the aloha fest March 12&13th it was nice to get back in touch with the polynesian culture! Ever since the Tongan Ward got dissolved there's really nothing else going on. No dances no eatings yea borrring. So yea we got to watch all the groups perform. I can say that i really did miss dancing! Tongan Tau'olunga is my expertise. I miss it i swear if i was back to size 12 i would def. be up on that stage puttin' it down for tonga..lol...seriously. I took so many pics and sadly my camera is missing =( its somewhere i just don't know where i hope it comes up soon. Sunday they had a few poly bands playing and one that we were all familiar with is Kava Kreation mostly because one of the singers, leka we grew up with also was in the tongan ward. Of course we support his group so we all went and listened. They're a very new group so we weren't expecting much but they did very good. They did a cover of "Make you sweat" by Inner Circle and i did feel guilty because it was sunday. There we are breaking the sabbath day yes i really remembered to repent for that one. Well my cousin Taufa (who's more like my brother) his inner rasta wanted to explode and here's a vid ha ha ha.

If theres anyone who knows reggae music its Taufa! If he didn't have the gospel in his life he would def. be a rasta..lol..

After that weekend my mom, me, lil alex, siaosi, lina and teine flew out to utah. We planned a disney spring break vacation but that didn't work out so we headed to utah. I was so glad so i could see my feinga sisters it had been a few months since i've seen them so i was very happy to make it there and spend some quality time. Also we spent some great time with my older bro siate which is always lovely =) We had so much fun tweedy and sita took us bowling. Booga came in 2nd place he had so much fun and now thats all he wants to do is bowl. Then we ate Belgian waffle after again even though we ate it the night before after we flew in.

The Belgian Waffle&Omelet Inn we ate here twice! Waffle Delight is on point!
We were even able to meet up for breakfast with Kass and Moni! So happy we were able to see Toa! He's growing so quick!

Our trip was too quick and here these 2 are waiting for our flight

Back to work =(

I love and hate work! Love work because I meet so many different people from everywhere. Front desk is so easy it really isn't work at all. Hate it because i miss my lil booger! He's all i think about. My two days off were consisted of watching despicable me and mega mind. Then playing Super Mario on the DS taking turns with booga every time one of us died. I really miss him i wish i was a millionaire so i could just spend my weeks with him spoiling him, picking on him and laughing with him. But in reality that'll never happen soon..lol..

So lately i've been thinking about the big picture! School, career, my future and all. I haven't gone back to school since 2008 yea i'm so late. I know for sure i don't want to be a front desk associate my whole life heooo nah. Right now we just can't afford it. With us both working we can pay rent, utilities, pay off some of our debt, have food on the table, clothes on our back and the occasional things we don't need but want. Alex's sister Karen has been wanting us to move in with her. Many pros to that plan lets see i can go to school, won't have to pay rent, we'd be saving alot of money and most of all we'll be so much closer to her! BUT i don't want to depend on her for everything i mean i know that i can i just don't feel like me and my family is her responsibility. She has her own family and a business to take care of. Yes she would be helping me and alex alot but i just feel like i'd be free loading. Then there's us staying here in az. Our life will be the same like the past 4 years! I don't want that i want to get out of this small town and find a life of our own. But that would mean taking booga away from his grandparents his aunties and uncles. The people who have been there for us the most, who have been there for me since day 1! I honestly can say that is why i'm still in az it would be heartbreaking to take him so far away. Also i would miss them like crazy! I can't just keep pushing this aside its either start school towards a better career, be tight on money and learn to be more frugal or off to florida i go for a whole different life. These are the things i get to decide now that i should be grown up. Yay me!

FO REAL!!

Yesterday as I was getting ready to go out on girls night out with my mom, sis lina and cousin Mo. I told alex his papa would be watching him since dad was working. He was a little upset because he wanted to join the party. Finally after getting ready we get to my moms house. Him and my little sister teine get their bikes. They're riding up and down the drive way while i'm just sitting by the car watching them. He comes up to me and says mom can i go please. Then i reply Papa's going to take you to McDonald and let you play I said this in a really high pitch happy voice. Then alex looks at me and says FO REAL mom!lol...i started laughing at him and he says what? I asked him when did he start saying fo real then he just starts smiling at me. With his big brown eyes and his dimple i love so much! Its
astonishing the little phrases children pick up on. Alex is growing so quick i feel like i'm losing control of time. I miss him when he was small I fear the day he gets old enough to spend his time with friends instead of me. Boy i don't know how i'll handle him starting school but for now let me focus on the time i have now before i get depressed thinking about kindergarten he he he.

Las Vegas Day 3

Its our last day in vegas and well everything was just like the past 2 days rugby games during the day and party at night..lol..well you know our kind of party. I really didn't mind not doing anything staying home and having alex play with his cousin is good enough. Besides I love catching up with Ini. Most of that day was spent just hanging out at the house and the boys playing video games.

My nephew Tonga isn't he so cute!
And of course my crazy child

I'm sad to say I broke the sabbath day but hey this is my first time for the year ha ha ha. This night it was just the girls Ini, Moli Isa and I. We went to Cadillac ranch since my cousin told us J boog would be performing again and much long than the night before. Of course we were down to go. Ini and I went to ihop and had a nice meal that I couldn't finish. Then off to Cadillac Ranch we went to meet up with her sister moli and her cousin Isa. We sat around once we got there then went to dance and finally the show started. J Boog came out and did his thing. I've got to say I'm a pretty big fan of his I know most his song word by word. When he first released his first cd I was all over it playing it anytime I could I mean people who were around me alot were getting tired of hearing his album..lol..I was front and center right I was so close I could just hold the mic for him. I promise at times it felt like it was just me and him..ha ha ha He did a great show and sang all the songs I wanted him to he he he. Another plus is my cousin kiwini was singing back up for him so it was nice to see him doing his thing. Although I would've rather had Kiwini singing his songs it was ok. We ended the night good all four of us was upfront, show was great and I love the girls we were with we had so much fun together! On top of that we were all sober doesn't get no better =)
Me and Ini
Us four with J Boog =)
Missing Moli =( Us with Fiji
My cousin Kiwini!!

Las Vegas Day 2

This would mean Day 2 as in Feb 12 2011...I was so drained from friday night we got home at like 4 am since we made a pit stop at walmart for breakfast food to cook for everyone. I walked into the room my cousin had us in and there was big and little alex fast asleep i missed them for those hours i was gone..lol.. finally i dove into bed with them and set the alarm on my phone for a 7am wake up. I figure that'll be plenty of time to make breakfast and get ready. Well I did get up at 7 and make breakfast but the rugby games were definitely a NO GO for me he he he. Me and ini stayed home with our boys alex and tonga boi. It was nice we just hung out caught up on each others lives. Tonga is just like my brother we've known each other our whole lives. He started dating ini when he was like 16 and now they're in their late 20's its amazing how far they've come. I always knew no matter the separate paths they took they would always find their way back on the same path together! Now look at them married for almost a year with a handsome bby boy!
I was so excited because this night we were all going to go out together. Tonga was going to be security which got ini in for free! Then we all paid for our tickets. My older brother siate decided to go with his girlfriend which was ok since she's under 21 she can't get in anywayz.
I really didnt have a sitter lined up since my parents didn't come out to Vegas so ini asked her sister lingo and she watched alex with tonga boi! We all got ready and ini's friend joined us. We got their pretty early because I wanted to be front row as usual. As soon as we were in Az ppl were coming to say hi left and right..lol...Ray leger went on first which was surprising since i didn't know he was performing and their i went straight to the front and stayed up there till the show was done. I was so excited because i knew my cousin kiwini would be performing. After Ray leger ( you know he was bomb like the night before) Sons of Manasseh went on they were pretty good they performed Mrs. Brown one of their old songs that i like. Then Na drua came on they're were good i just wanted to hear they most popular songs but it took them forever to finally perform it. Finally the lost coast boys were starting to come out and kiwini came to greet us! I was so sad i guess the other performers took up most of the time so they had to cut kiwini's time so we only really heard j boog and fiji most of the time. Siaosi performed hey girl which was on point. Then after the concert we saw so many friends and family from everywhere.

AZ Folks with Ray Leger
Uncle Peti..Al..Simi..and uncle Fehi
Goo Kiwini..kiwini on the far left
Me and my cousin Ana from Oregon
And here's J Boog singing to me..lol..

Las Vegas Day 1

Where do I begin? This trip was kind of the last minute get up and go. We had known alot of our friends and family would be going so we said hey if we get if the Rugby 7's weekend off for work lets go! The Tuesday of that week I got word my days were approved and alex had long had his days off so it was a done deal Vegas here we come. Of course I made reservations for us to stay at a Marriott hotel but we ended up at my cousins house since my brother was there along with my close cousins. We wanted to spend alot of time together and it would save us some $$. We arrived in Vegas at 6:30am my cousin tonga and brother siate picked us up. We had the whole day ahead of us =) Me and my cousins wife Ini took off to the mall came back home 2 hours later. To find uncle Peti, aunty Lome, Isa, Eula, Charley and Amy. Az ppl yayyy! We went to the outlet malls then headed off to eat Green Valley I was hurt..lol..that they didn't have crab legs urghh. Other than that food was legit. We came home lied around while lil alex and tonga boi played.
The white boys..lol..tonga boi blends in with my family..lol
My cousin Tonga's little family Ini and Tonga boi at Green Valley

Me and the boys outside the outlet mall! Alex was mad he couldn't take the picture

Friday night I went to the 7's Breakaway Concert at Azul night club with my cousin Ashley from utah. I mainly wanted to go because I'm a big fan of 3RP.
We got there at almost 11 and was able to catch the last song Kava Creations was singing. After they performed I wanted to get upfront so i could get good pics and helllooo the shows way better front and center. I was a little hesitant to go all the way to the front since alot of my uncles were there just felt awkward getting my groove on while they were there..lol...i guess it being a club it just didn't feel right. But a group named Malie Productions were up and I was starting to get dance fever so me and Ashley went right up to the front and ended up there the whole night! It was so fun and we danced the night away. My fave had to be 3RP since they put it down for the tongans they performed their covers for 2 tongan songs and boy was the crowd going wild.

2 of the guys from 3RP
ohh and molo was performing too! i love his song called Ana also another plus i met him back in tonga when he was still trying to get his act together..lol..brother has come along way malie molo

My cousin Lani me and cuzzo Ashley with Molo in the back
Then Ray Leger topped the night off just right. I'm a big reggae fan play me some roots and I'm skankkin to cloud 9. Ray leger def. put it down for Rastas I'm such a big fan now that I've seen him live!
Ray Leger performing Red Rover my fave song of his =)
