These past 2 weeks have been so hectic its ludicrous. Juggling two jobs, young women activities, my husband and a two year old wild child. I’m running on “E” as soon as I got the job with Marriott I was dreading working doubles the next 2 weeks in order to leave my old job on good terms. Certainly I want the past year and 6 months of hard work on my application. These 2 weeks are coming to an end tomorrow’s my last day and honestly I’m going to miss my managers they’ve become my friends not just my managers. The 2 ladies who cover my shift when I’m stuck in new Zealand or I have to take off to a funeral and every other family function. Its going to be heartrending saying goodbye tomorrow.
Yesterday morning I got off work at 6:30 drove straight home made some breakfast and woke up the girls. The girls being Lila, Kesa, and Katherine. Lila made plans for us to go hiking I’ve never been but I was certainly up for exercising since I’ve hadn’t been to rugby in like 2 months now (sad story for a whole other post). The girls finally got up and got ready and we were out. Our hiking spot was at Saguaro lake which is about 30 mins. I fell asleep to no one surprise I was worn out from work. We pulled up to the side of the lake and parked the car I reached into my purse to grab my inhaler sure enough I forgot it at work. As we headed towards the trail I knew I was going to have trouble breathing but I’d have to suck it up because I didn’t come to sit by the lake. I’m soo out of shape I got put on check not even half way the hike I was ready to call it a day. Thanks to the girls I kept hiking on. It was so nice to be out in the wilderness I was sneezing my life away but it was still nice. The scenery was beautiful living in the city I forget how pretty our desert really is. We finally got to the end of the trail and it went down into the lake we sat stress-free talked and enjoyed our surroundings. After about an hour we headed back the same way we came. We started to head back still huffing and puffing but I can’t wait for the next trail lila takes us on.lol. Next time I’ll be more prepared.
